Great colour set off by the black background, and good macro detail, like it.

Ah, so you've got some tuplips as well!
Lovely capture Angie, I like the way they're all the same height and the black back drop.

Lovely coloured Tulips that stand out well with the black background, nice lighting that highlights the detail nicely.

Great framing by light/darkness
The black background makes the colours much more intensive but they are still really subtle and beautiful.

Gorgeously delicate, love the colour, a real harbinger of things to come. As I scrolled up your picture, I thought it would look good with a bit chopped off the stalks, but maybe thats just me, I seem to go for wide angle.

Great colours against the black background.
Dee thinks it would look better with the stalks shorter but for me taking about half of the black off the top would make it better. I scrolled the picture off the screen and for me that just made it that little bit better.
But everyone has their own views on cropping, as often comes up here.

Lovely photo, Angie D. Such dandy deepness of colour and symmetry of balance. Beautiful! Oh, and thank you for the wonderful critique. It really got the ball a-rollin'.

Smashing shot Angie, you have added interest by the front one being slightly open to show the yellow inside, that is the stepping stone into the picture, well thought out and lit

Skullduggery afooot again. I have already commented on this, but yet again, my comment has been removed?
Anyway, again, one of your better shots, I think. Love the composition, the simplicity of it, the colours and the almost, sketched lines.
Well done

Beautifully lit and excellent composition, the missing petal on that front tulip brings it to life for - a flaw in perfection.
