Hi everyone, just thought I'd pop in and introduce myself. I'm Jonny and I own the amazing SL245. I realy love this camera, it has loads of settings if i'm in a rush to snap but it also has the manual mode for setting up for astro photography (somthing that I'm realy getting into). I've taken some great shots with this cam, I fully recomend it. I'll post up some examples of my picture's in a bit.  If anyone knows of the best way to connect this cam to my telescope then that would be great if you could share the knowledge....I know there was another guy asking the same question.

I hope I have done the right thing. I have enjoyed digital photography for some time and own a few cameras (too many my Wife would say!!)Canon 350D with Sigma 17 - 70 and 70- 300 mm lenses and loads of bits.Pentax WG1 waterproof and rugged like me (I wish)Canon Powershot sx130, nice small with 12x zoom.I now have bought a HS30EXR with a mind to sell one of the others (or keep them hidden from her indoors). I will soon bore you with my pictures I am sure!!!

Hello AllAlthough I have been on the site over a year and have recently started posting in the forums I have never really introduced myself.I'm not really sure what to say about myself. I have been taking snaps since I inherited my first camera from my Grandad when I was 16 a zenith SLR that weighs about the same as my Car I still have it but it doesn't get used much. I bought a much lighter cannon SLR when I was in my early 20s and used it for a few years I then took a break.
