Was looking at the Corel page today to see if the aftershot was capable of the HS20 RAF files, not yet the only Fuji camera is the x100, but noticed that you can get a free book with order of Paintshop Pro x4, I know the book to be very informative and helpful, I bought the book called Restoring and Retouching photos by Robert Correll, I bought the book through Barnes and Nobel books.

Anyone used it yet? was thinking of upgrading from 3 but not sure yet.

hi all i have recently bought a second hand copy of cs5.1 but the product key does not work can anyone give me any ideas how i can get a key that wil work .... cheers

I recently found Photo Director from Cyber link. It is more for RAW files but will work with jpg and tiff as well. It opens a lot more Fuji RAF files then most of the software I have seen sold for as much and more then what Cyber link wants for the photo director program.

Hello All,Have just joined but have a small querry before I introduce myself. Yesterday I purchased the S3380 (Or so I thought) from a certain retailer in town. Upon opening the box it contained the S4300 and the software and manuals are for said camera. I did some research on the camera and found that it was not to be issued in the UK. What is the difference in both cameras and can use the S4300 in the UK with no loss of buyers privilages. Many thanks for your help and as I said at the top Strange this is.David

I am interested in what others think about his, and I bet this has been discussed to death before, but when does the picture you took stop being that picture?I have just been looking through some pictures here and came across a few composite images and although they were great images I started thinking "that's not the shot that was taken".I then started to look at other images and could see some heavy photoshopping (or whatever program used) and I started to query my own criteria for deciding on what was the difference between a photograph and an image.

Has anyone tried downloading & using the new Gimp 2.8 yet?

Hi everyone!I just bought a fuji s4000 today and started taking a few random pics just to test it out. I have to say that most pics I took look awesome on the camera's screen, but when i uploaded them to my pc they were terrible!Am I the only one to whom this has happened or do i just need to get used to the camera more?Thanks for the input everyone :D

My question is , how much editing is acceptable, for the competition, do they what to show off the camera capabilities, or photoshop/picasa.  Obviously cropping seems acceptable, but what about framing,  I have framed my entry, but wondering if Fuji are just looking to show their cameras and would frown upon anything extra. 

I reall know about  the photoshop 6 that I bought from the net(fully liecensed).  I don't knoe what any of the brushes/ lassoo's do or, even, how to sellect and de-select them.  I'm disabled and living on incapsity benefit so, I need to find, free advice(for a real novice DUMMIE!)

 For my editing at present i process my image in ViewNx, add my signature from a brush in PSE 9, then i go to Photoscape to add a simple border ( its so easy), why, because i am struggling to get a border or frame in Elements.When i open effects in Elements i seem to have two options for frames, drop shadow or recessed, is this it ? If it is i will have to work with it, i can change the frame colours, i stumbled on this by fiddling, but at present i cannot change the size of the frame.
