I'm scratching my head, should i use auto ISO Setting e.g. 400auto/800auto or should i say set the camera up to one ISO and if so any which one ,

Who decided that a bokeh makes for an artistic image I wonder? Is it really artistic or simply a modern trendy fad - used to excess in particular by sports photographers?

I have the fuji finepix HS30EXR. Currently I am trying to take a photo of the International Space station. Which is currently flying very low and very bright in the night sky. The problem I am having is when I change the ISO to high or it's max it changes the shutter speed to a second which is completely useless for what I'm trying to achieve. This is really frustrating me as I understand the aperture, the shutter speed etc and iso to make a good picture. But my camera will not give 30 seconds SS with a high ISO. Please if you can, give me some advice as to what you'd recommend.

 Hello my name is tony ,my gallery pics are under darkansom i would appreciate any comments on the pics ... my question is ,how can i take good pictures of lightning with my finepix s4250 i have taken video but can not seem to figure out the process to get a still photo out of the video i have heard it is possible but never had any explanation , or any suggestions on catching lightning on a digital camera would be appreciated ... again i use a finepix s4250 24x zoom

We always photoblog all our holidays We've booked accommodation here so it's all set. For normal shooting, I set the zoom at 50mm (35 mm equiv) 50 mm closley matches the focal length of the human eye and gives less perspective distortion. Prior to digital cameras, most good 35mm cameras came with a 50 mm lense. The manufacturers knew this.

The highest shutter peed i can go on the HS30 is only 4 seconds and I have seen on many sites that the highest shutter speed is 30 seconds. how can i fix this?please help because i have tried everything,on every mode and tried arranging the setting but nothing happened
