HS10 Release cable brackets

Due to excellent feedback and popular demand, but having sold out all of my previous spare HS10 Remote Cable Release Brackets as shown below, I have now had a further batch produced. They come complete with a 700mm release cable as shown and are made from satin finished Stainless Steel. Unfortunately I can only offer them to UK members, so if anyone is interested please use my contact button and leave your email address and I will get back to you.

Thanks for asking, the last batch were sold at £25 inclusive for the Stainless Steel Bracket, a 700mm soft cable and 1st Class P&P. Each bracket is fitted and trial tested using the actual supplied cable, I use my own HS10 to ensure correct operation prior to dispatch. To date nothing has increased so the price will continue to remain the same, anyone interested should use my contact button.

Cheers, Terry

I have today received this HS10 attachment from Terry.  It arrived with good clear instructions on how to fit and the attachment is now in use.  This appears to be a well designed attachment and I am sure I will find it most useful.   Well done Terry on your design & quick response to my order.  Many thanks.

Hi Terry.

Will it fit the HS20?

Hello Dipper, you do not need one on the HS20 as it is already fitted with remote release facility, whereas the HS10 does not have this.

Thanks for the prompt reply Tez. I'll have to search the HS20 user manual more thoroughly.

Well done for making your version. It looks good.

Dipper, I should have mentioned that you need to buy the Fuji RR-80 Remote Release for your HS20, it fits into your cameras USB socket, about £30 or so to buy.

Mainly because of shipping costs and payment for people outside of the UK. I may look into setting up a Pay-pal account and offering them on eBay, if so I will post it on here.

I have recently received one of Terry's HS10 shutter release cable and bracket kits and would like to recommend this to anybody with an HS10 who is looking for a remote cable device. It looks great, very professional, fits perfectly in seconds and works perfectly. It arrived in a couple of days, well packaged and included comprehensive instructions.

What more can you ask ?

Thanks for your help Terry.

Received my remote combo from Terry today (day after posting) - excellent service. I endorse everything previously said about it. A simple, compact device that does exactly as claimed. Worked first time without any problem.  Thanks Terry.

Hi Terry,

Just a quick thank you regarding my recently received release bracket/cable.  As has been mentioned by others, comms were excellent and delivery of the hardware was very quick.

The bracket itself is great.  Fitted straight in with no fettling required.  A few test shots later and I'm a very happy snapper.

Thanks again for everything...your efforts are greatly appreciated!

Dave.

Hi Terry.

Not seeing a contact button (maybe because I'm new on here) but I'd like to purchase one of your remote releases - just bought an HS10 and not having a remote is the only thing that stops it being perfect!

Can you send me a message or let me have an email address please.

Thanks.

Simon

Hello Simon, there may be a glitch with the contact button as today I cannot see one for you. Several people have tried to contact me recently with regards these brackets, but they have not activated their own contact button in their profiles, neither did they include an email address with their request, so I am sorry that I could not reply to those people. Remember that your contact message to me will come via the Fine-Pix site and I then will receive a notification that you have sent me a message, after I have read it I can only reply back to you if you have your contact button activated in your profile. As many new members are not aware of this any contact you make with other members may go unanswered, so it is best to include an email address for yourself in your initial contact message, that way we do not need to communicate via the Fine-Pix system. Please continue to check out the contact button for a few days by clicking on my name in this post and then clicking the contact button in the banner in my profile when it opens up. If there is still a problem please re-post in this thread and I will try to contact you. Providing you live in the UK (for postal reasons) I still have some brackets and cables remaining.

Hello Simon, I have sent you an email regarding the HS10 release bracket and look forward to hearing from you, may I suggest that you now edit your above post and remove your own email address from it so as to avoid any potential spam.

Received my remote unit from Terry last week - very well made and high quality bit of kit, sent with highly detailed instructions - not that you really need them as it's basically 'plug and play'. A great-value solution to an annoying problem.

Great service and communications from Terry who I suspect does this more in the spirit of helping out other HS10 users, rather than making any real profits.

Thank you very much Terry!

Thank you Simon, it does seem that all the people who have obtained one of these has been very happy with it and found it very easy to fit and use. You are not far wrong with your last remark though, by the time I pay for materials, cables, 1st class postage, plus time and effort by myself, then there is little left in the way of profit. Unfortunately that is why I can only offer them to UK members of this site until my current stocks run out. I would imagine that with your Raynox lens, cable release and power pack fitted you are now all set up for your macro photography, so we will be expecting to see some good pictures from you.
