Nature shot are not my thing and I am sure you will get better cc from others. But I agree with the above, great timing. I think the stag it a little to central in the shot, you could crop the shot to correct this. The wall in the background is a shame but beyond your control. Well capture and a very nice shot, I like:)

Not good but i only had the small MFP file. 10 Minutes. Could become interesting with a bit of haze in the background and perhaps some sunbeams comming through.

Yes. I copied the back layer, made a selection of the animal and the gras in the upper layer, inverted the selection and deleted it. (when you do something like that always soften the edge of the selection a tiny bit, it looks more natural)
Then the cloning on the background layer was very fast as the interesting parts of the photo were secure in the top layer.

Thanks for the comments and advice. I actually hadn't thought of doing that so it is nice to have other views.
