My Colour Portrait work with my children.

Hi everyone Im sorry i dont get on here much but being 32+ weeks pregnant and 2 children dont give me much time, to add to it i have the dreaded Gestational diabetes which is really hard to get used to as have to inject aswell as take tablets. I thought id take this time to show you some colour portrait as my last was black and white. Hope you dont mind, and thankyou for the few people who still pop by a view my photos it means alot. xxx Baby is due in just under 6 weeks time Smile

Deep in Thought

True sibling Love, its so nice to see them like this.

This looks lovely in black and white aswell.

Olivia is always cheeky.

Chilling in the bubbles, someone said this was a scary photo, i cant see that i see my son Thomas just relaxing in the bubbles,.

I love it when i can get a smile out of Thomas.

What do you see.....I love Olivias eyes here, she wasnt very well haver chicken pox and was resting.

My wonderful children.

I can still see you.

Playing with Glitter

Playing with the lights from the christmas tree

You always get one that plays about lol.

Where will my dreams take me

Using the natural evening sunlight

Using my studio lights and white back ground

Using natural evening sunlight

Olivia was smiling up at her dad here

My handsome boy.

Please Please just one more sweetie...

Just a wonderful smile

My water baby with a little colour saturation

Thomas showing everyone how he writes his name

Just taking a rest and giving such a cute smile

Baby blue eyes.

We are not always happy :)

I do love my sister but i want that cake.

More love between my Angels.

Deep in concentration

Thomas love taking photos, i must do his own album pn facebook

Olivia likes to have a go aswell.

Well here is just a few, you probably say a FEW lol but i have so many photos i love to share them,if you like id like to do another blog sometime with some black and white and my photoshoots with other, then ill do another colour one and may be some waterdrops.

Then it will be time to do a blog on the new baby and his brother and sister.

Thankyou for taking the time to pass by and take a look at my photos

It always amazes me how you manage to get their eyes so sharp, I can never seem to acheive that level! Be interested to know the kit you use and techniques etc.

Wonderful stuff Victoria, good luck with the rest of your pregnancy - guess we'll ahve lots of baby pics to look fwd to next  Smile

Really nice portraits. Really interesting poses showing some 'animation' that not everyone captures.

Fabulous photos Victoria, your children are sooo gorgeous, and how on earth do you get them to pose for you? I've got a 4 year old grandson and although I do get some good shots of him they're certainly not of this standard, I can never get him to sit still, or even look at the camera. Very well done, a big Like from me.

Wow thankyou so much everyone for popping by and taking a look at my portraits of my children i will defo do a blog with some of my photo shoots with other children and babies. You have all made my confidence boost up Smile i love portrait so so much.

Welsh Jen and Ian, with my portrait shots i always focus on the eyes, the one with olivia laying on the sofa i just brightened a little and the use of natural sunlight brought the colour out on her eyes, i also use Photoshop CS5 and and if you go on The Coffeeshop Blog there are loads of free actions and textures you can download as a zip file. I sometimes use perfect portrait or 2 minute miracle which tends to get rid of any redness or blemishes it also defines the eyes but i tend to brush over with a soft brush to make it not so sharp, most of the photos are the way my childrens eyes come out, i just zoom in on the eyes.I also use corel paintshop pro, i love that to remove any noise as cant really get on with the photoshop one. I love to capture them doing their own thing, i may do some posed shots with my lights and back drops but i still let them have their own fun, i also use natural light on the subjects from the window and use my lights just on the back ground. I love my 55mm 1.8 lens for portrait work aswell. Hope that helps in some way please let me know if there is anything else you would like to know and also if you would like me to post some more work.

Ohhh and Ian finepix with the qualifications part do you mean do i have any???? I dont have any in photography ive just learnt and picked up what you see here, just practice all the time Smile.xx

Thankyou for all the kind wishes on the new baby, im really hoping and praying all goes well, im having a C-section when hes 38 weeks due to diabetes and low laying placenta, hope to get a date tomorrow and we will also get to see him again on the scan as they are checking he is gaining to much weight. Thomas and Olivia are very excited to meet their new brother. xx

Thankyou everyone Smile

This is a set from the top drawer that would grace a pro portfolio. The stand out shot for me is "more love between my angels" - stunning. Smile
