My Holiday To Orkney.

I've recently been on holiday to the Orkney Isles in Scotland. It is about an hour ferry ride from the very top of Britain. I thought I would put up a photo blog just to show people how beautiful Orkney really is plus I have never done a photo blog before so I thought I would give it a go!

What a smashing set of photos, this is one of the places I would love to go when I retire, having seen it a few times on BBC2 "Coast"
Your photos have wetted my appetitie once again. My Fave shot is the "grass snorting" cow!! haha.

Great first blog. The sunsets are fabulous. There was another blog on Orkney some months back that showed the interior of the church it looks remarkable in your photo and you have captured a meloncholy stillness in the cloud covered mountain and coast scene
