Harbour BW
I've always loved to take some photos in the old part of Hamburg harbour. With an increased interest in B/W photos over the last time i have changed some photos from 2011 and 2012 to B/W - hope you like it.
For me the age of these buildings and the motifs make it the obviouis thing to give them the old B/W treatment. This time without any aging elements which i have described here http://www.myfinepix.es/article/125333/409547

tugboat, the workhorses in each harbour

quay

a bit of maritime Kitsch :) (only for tourists)

parking stations

More bridges than in Venice ;) Ok, not as beautiful but this has been and still is a part of the working harbour.

Hundreds of historical brick buildings. I like the craftsmanship which was used. Many of these building look in better shape after more than 100 years than modern building after 20.

More bricks

Bricks + a bridge = my motif

Hi Uwe
How are you M8y. Some very nice shots in here. B&W always works for me, I have said before that it's not long after looking through an album or photoblog, very soon I forget or don't notice the lack of colour.
Just done a birdie blog myself if you care to take a peep. All the best M8.
